They bring you comfort, joy and unconditional love, so 94.9 WDKB would like to introduce you to the adoptable Pet of the Week.

Meet Serenity:

“ONE YEAR!!!  Next week I will have been searching for a home for an entire year! My name is Serenity. I’m a smart girl who knows basic commands. I LOVE treats and am very food motivated so continuing my training will be easy. I will sing for you when I need to go outside to potty. That’s right…SING! How many dogs do you know that will serenade you?  I am protective of my belongings so would do best in a home where I don’t have to share with other animals or kids. I’m also a strong girl who would benefit from a home with experienced dog owner(s) who will continue to work with me. To help me find a home, my Adoption Fee has been DONATED!!  Please don’t make me wait one day more! ”

COVID 19 UPDATE

Tails has reopened the shelter to the public! Their low cost spay/neuter clinic is also open and they are offering limited size dog training classes again!

They are always looking for foster families. If you are interested, please complete the application on their website and their Foster Coordinator will be in touch soon.

Want to help in other ways? Tails needs pet food to supply those in the community who may find purchasing pet food outside their means in this difficult time. You can find these items on Tails’ Amazon Wishlist and have them shipped right to their door.

Tails also encourages you to prepare a plan for your pets in case you become sick. Consider reaching out to friends and family to provide support for your pets in the event of illness or hospitalization.
